Aanval is a commercial Snort and Syslog intrusion detection, correlation, and threat management console. Aanval has been in active development since 2003 and remains one of the longest running Snort capable front-end products in the industry.

Government security and defense organizations from more than a half dozen countries, educational institutions from around the world, global financial organizations, as well as space exploration and military weapons manufacturers rely upon Aanval as a part of their security infrastructure.

Loyal Moses
President & CEO

Loyal is an accomplished business owner and proven entrepreneur as well as technical speaker, published author, and multi-lingual developer with more than 20 years of programming, information security, and business experience. With a long and diverse technical background, Loyal has a wide-ranging set of both basic and advanced skills from network security and professional hacking to desktop, web, and mobile device development. Loyal is recognized as creating Aanval, his globally successful network security intrusion management creation, which is protecting a modest 6000+ customers. Loyal spends his days inside the Tactical FLEX, Inc. Network Security Operations Center (NSOC) where he continues to manage, develop, and shape the direction and vision of Tactical FLEX, Inc. Loyal also semi-regularly maintains his personal blog that can be found at http://www.loyalmoses.com/.

Jennifer Manguino
Director of Operations & Marketing

Jennifer is responsible for managing all aspects of operations, product development, marketing initiatives, public relations, sales, and social media efforts with Tactical Flex, Inc. Jennifer possesses a diverse array of both consumer and business-to-business marketing communications experience in direct marketing, print/online advertising, sales promotions, event planning, sponsorship sales, media planning, and publicity. Prior to joining Tactical FLEX, Inc., Jennifer was the Regional Director of Marketing & Sales at Broughton Hospitality Chicago hotels. She also held positions as Marketing Director for VEECO Salon Design & Manufacturing, Marketing Manager at Monsoon Restaurant which was nominated by the James Beard Foundation Award, and Project Manager at McCann-Erickson Southwest coordinating the multi-national Texas Instrument's online and print advertising campaigns. Jennifer is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Communications specializing in Advertising. She is based in Chicago at the company's Midwest office.

Kenneth Bitz
Director of Sales

Kenneth brings experience selling Internet banking systems and Web Content Management Systems, mortgage banking and public administration. In the early days of the Web he sold and marketed innovative Web technologies to risk adverse trade and professional organizations and financial institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX and did graduate study in Behavioral Sciences at the University of Houston, Clear Lake, Houston, TX. His goal is to grow the Tactical FLEX customer base and maintain Aanval's high customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty levels. He brings over twenty-five years experience in sales, marketing and communications to build and enhance the Aanval brand and customer experience.

Eric Smith
Customer Relationship Management - Global

Eric brings many years of customer relationship insight, technical writing and editing, and support experience to Tactical FLEX, Inc., where he leads our corporate customer experience and support departments. Eric's diverse customer relationship background is spread quite evenly throughout large enterprise, small business, and non-profit works. Eric's core focus is on customer and prospect relationships and the overall product experience. Eric has a BS in English from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Patrick Williams
Business Support Specialist - Global

Patrick is responsible for providing exceptional customer service support for Tactical FLEX, Inc. clients and business support functions within the organization. Patrick’s core focus is to facilitate the organization’s administrative activities and execute special projects and corporate programs. Patrick is passionate about information technology, business, and photography. He is an Eagle Scout and is currently working to complete his college degree in Business.

Aaron Mathisen
Product Development

Aaron introduced himself to programming and technology over 15 years ago, fell in love with it, and has been developing software ever since. Over the years, he has worked on a variety of software and web projects for large companies, small companies, and everything in between. His body of work includes development and support for Microsoft, Amazon, and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. Aaron is a valued team member and a critical component in the development and maintenance of the body of software products and services offered by Tactical FLEX, Inc.

Jose Carlos Torres
Account Management - Central & South America

Jose Carlos has more than 20 years of IT experience, including 10+ years of broad-based management in systems design, IT infrastructure, government dependence and enterprise business development. Jose Carlos graduated from UAEM, MX with a B.S. in System Engineering and continues to solve complex problems by integrating core business principles and cutting-edge technologies in both public and private sector arenas. Jose Carlos Torres is a proven industry facilitator, with an excellent track record of combining the needs and interests of his clients with the appropriate balance of risk and cost effectiveness. Jose Carlos speaks both Spanish and English.

Prior to Aanval's initial release, Loyal Moses (creator of Aanval) expressed the importance of providing ongoing support for the information security community. Although Aanval is a commercially developed and supported product, we continue to support our sector by providing Aanval, free of charge for networks which require only a single Snort, Suricata and/or Syslog installation.
