Requirements safe_mode should be disabled memory_limit of 64M or greater Recommendations memory_limit = 128M or greater error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE Aanval is not supported with prior versions, release candidates (RC) and / or beta releases of PHP. MySQL As of Aanval 3, Aanval has been designed to correctly operate with all iterations of MySQL version 4 and 5. Web Browser Aanval 3 Aanval is officially supported within all current web browsers Aanval 4 & 5 Aanval is officially supported within all current web browsers which can function unimpeded with Adobe's Flash Player version 10 or greater. Memory As expected, all versions of Aanval run at higher levels of performance with greater available memory. Aanval is a database dependent application, thus it consumes great amounts of memory when performing searches or generating report content. To ensure performance, as much memory as possible should be made available so that Aanval is not over utilizing the disk in a compensatory manor. With this in mind, 1GB of minimum memory is acceptable for basic functionality on single or small sensor deployments, while 2GB or more is recommended. Medium and large scale deployments should provide 4GB or more of memory. οΎ Apache Aanval is designed to operate with any current web server technology that supports PHP. The Apache web server is the most common web server in use by Aanval users. Microsoft IIS is _not_ supported due to OS compatibility reasons. In short, the installation should support PHP & MySQL for both the web server and command line. Logos and trademarks are property of their respective owners. |
